Merge PDF

Merging PDFs is the simplest way to keep related documents together. If you've scanned a contract in pieces, received an invoice across multiple emails, or want to bundle a cover letter, resume and portfolio for a single application, one merged PDF is far easier to share than a folder of files. Recipients open one document, scroll through it linearly, and never have to guess the right reading order.

A few practical tips produce cleaner merged PDFs. First, name your source files with a numeric prefix (01_intro, 02_invoice, 03_signed) before uploading — the merge preserves your chosen order, but predictable names help you double-check. Second, make sure each input is a real PDF; image files won't be merged here (use JPG to PDF first). Third, avoid password-protected files — they can't be opened by the merger without the password.

Finally, remember that merging is lossless from the document's perspective, but the resulting file size is the sum of its parts. If you're hitting an email size limit, compress the merged PDF after the fact or use Compress Image on the source images before they ever become a PDF.
