When mixed formats meet

Image to PDF is the right tool when you have a folder of mixed-format images — some JPGs from a phone, some PNG screenshots, some WebP downloads from a website — and you want them all in one shareable PDF. The alternative workflows (converting everything to JPG first, then using JPG to PDF) take more steps and add an extra lossy conversion for the PNGs and WebPs.

Each image becomes one page, with the page size auto-fitted to the image's aspect ratio. This avoids the white borders and distortion you'd get from forcing every image into a fixed page size like A4. For most mixed-format collections, the result looks natural and reads well.

A common workflow for this tool is creating a photo document of an event — say, screenshots of a sequence of UI states mixed with a few phone photos of the physical context. The mixed-format PDF becomes a single chronological record that's easy to share with a design team or a client. Reorder the images into the right narrative order before clicking Convert.
